As the Head of Performance - Internal Products and Platforms, you will play a crucial role in our mission by leading the transformation of our technology infrastructure. This role is pivotal in transitioning from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms, enhancing our digital workplace, and supporting Bupa's 'Connected Care' business. With a budget exceeding £100 million and a team of over 400 personnel, your leadership will drive significant improvements in our risk management, commercial operations, and overall digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
Risk & Governance: Enhance risk management by improving risk culture, management, and reporting. Represent the CIO on GRC matters and oversee audits and risk issues.
Commercial Management: Lead the commercial aspects of the function, focusing on cost management, financial planning, and vendor cost management. Support business case development and financial transformation.
Operational and Digital Experience Insights: Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making to improve products and services.
Strategy, Performance, and Communications: Lead the communication of the platforms/internal products' strategy and performance. Manage townhalls and report to Business Performance Committees.
People Management: Lead workforce planning and people transformation, including operating model changes, upskilling, and colleague engagement.
PMO Oversight: Perform PMO oversight of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a similar role for a large organisation.
A strong background in technology risk, including cyber change, resilience, and technology vendor risk.
Experience in commercial management for a technology office - cost management, financial planning, and vendor cost management.
The ability to build strong relationships with finance, procurement, and the wider technology function.
A proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Knowledge of information technology standards, tools, and processes, compliance, and audit.
Previous experience in cloud transformation.
