Advance your
Genetics Career at Bupa

We're currently recruiting for Genetic Counsellors to help us deliver 'My Genomic Health' to our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in an industry first for the private healthcare sector, whilst still being able to carry out other roles you may undertake elsewhere.

We offer complete flexibility, with hours that work around you. And our roles are remote too, helping you to manage a healthy work life balance.

What is
My Genomic Health?

Bupa is the first UK major private healthcare provider to pilot whole genome sequencing for selected UK customers, identifying risk of disease across more than 36 conditions including 10 cancers.

  • ‘My Genomic Health’ begins as a two-year pilot offering more than 3,500 customers whole genome sequencing to identify their risk of developing future health conditions
  • The programme will identify risk of disease across more than 36 conditions including 10 cancers, with customers accessing personalised recommendations and tailored health plans to prevent illness and promote early detection of disease
  • The pilot comes as part of Bupa’s advancement into genomic health in the UK, integrating genomic testing into products and services before symptoms develop and after conditions are diagnosed to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives
