What to expect

We want you to feel confident about your first weeks and set you up to succeed. Here's what to expect and be prepared for.

Week 1 - 4
  •  Facilitated learning

After week 13

Training ends and you are now classed as 'In Operation'

Shift pattern between 08:00 - 20:00 (Monday to Friday) with one Saturday per month 08:00 - 16:00.

  • Your internet needs to be a wired connection using an ethernet cable​
  • Broadband speeds need to be a minimum of 10mb upload and 4mb download
  • If you do experience issues with your systems, we may ask you to attend the office (hybrid & homeworkers).

Home Office

  • You will need to have a suitable desk and chair to work from.
  • Your location at home must be a secure space where you cannot be overseen or overheard to protect the privacy of our customers.
  • Limit all background noise as you will be servicing our customers over the phone.

Time off

  • We have set start dates throughout the year which means our training team will not be able to accomodate annual leave during your 13 week training period.
  • This is also to ensure you have all the training required when you reach week 14 and become and operational team member.

•Dell Keyboard: UK/Irish (QWERTY)​

•Monitor (22 inch & in a box)

This equipment will be provided for you on Day 1 to take home please do bear this in mind when travelling to the office

We promote work life balance at Bupa we do not expect you to use your personal device for anything work related

Bupa ID Passes

Passes must always be worn and visible for security purposes. Should anyone forget their pass, managers will need to be contacted to validate entry into the buildings.​

Different lanyard colours denote the following: ​

  • Blue - Permanent​
  • Purple - Contractor​
  • Red - Visitor​
  • Orange - Health and Safety​
  • Green - Permanent First Aider​
  • White - Mental Health First Aider
