Job Title:  Ultrasound Sonographer – Gynae Specialist (Bank Shifts)

Permanent / Contract:  BANK SHIFTS

Salary range: £40 per hour

Full time/part time: BANK SHIFTS

About the London Medical Centre

London Medical first opened its doors to patients back in 1991. With leading edge treatment and technology we provide a range of services to include; ophthalmology, cardiology and endocrinology, as well as in obesity, weight management, gynaecology, sexual health, paediatrics, ENT, respiratory medicine, and GP Services.


We can assess and provide diagnostics (including ultrasound, colonoscopy, and hysteroscopy) for a range of conditions to include; endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause, vulvar disease, and more, with complex and surgical care available at the Cromwell Hospital.

You'll help us make health happen by:

As the specialist gynaecological ultrasound sonographer, you'll be working closely with some of the UK's leading specialists in this field. You'll be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and effective ultrasound scanning service using the latest technology, carrying out ultrasound examinations in the gynaecology outpatient department and support consultants with the BUPA gynaecological pathway as part of a one stop assessment.

You'll provide clinical expertise to the ultrasound service at Bupa London Medical Centre, provide professional support and sonography services in accordance with all appropriate policies and procedures, and create a positive and inclusive culture and environment for staff and patients, delivering high quality care and outstanding service.

Ideally you'll be available on Thursdays.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • BSc or equivalent qualification in Radiography (essential)

  • HCPC Registered.

  • Membership of appropriate professional body and/or clinical interest group

  • Substantial post graduate experience in radiology
