We make health Happen:
Cromwell Hospital, a leading private facility in West London, offers comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services. We are seeking a skilled Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to oversee the adult physiotherapy team, with a focus on neurology, oncology and medical admissions, extending to the Adult Intensive Care Unit.
This role combines operational oversight and clinical leadership, working collaboratively with fellow lead therapists to support the Therapy Manager. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in neurological rehabilitation, including vestibular physiotherapy. Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload of inpatients and outpatients, triaging referrals, and treating complex and chronic conditions, often with multiple co-morbidities.
The Therapy Department at Cromwell Hospital has recently undergone significant investment to enhance both the clinical environment and therapeutic resources, aimed at improving patient outcomes and experience. This includes the acquisition of advanced equipment such as a 12-lead FES bike and the Xcite2 FES system, enabling efficient multichannel functional electrical stimulation integrated with task-specific exercises. Cromwell Hospital is currently the only private hospital in the country offering both technologies to improve patient outcomes.
Given this strategic development, we are seeking a candidate with proven experience in large-scale service development. The successful applicant will be expected to lead innovative initiatives that expand therapy services and contribute to revenue generation in alignment with the hospital's broader objectives.
You will benefit from a supportive senior leadership team and be able to access career development opportunities to increase your potential as a strong and capable leader
