As a Clinical Team Leader within Bupa's Diagnostics & Secondary Care services, you'll help shape the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a modern, multidisciplinary environment. You'll play an important role in supporting teams, elevating clinical standards, and ensuring every patient receives safe, coordinated and compassionate care.

How you'll help us make health happen

  • Provide visible, supportive clinical leadership, role‑modelling high standards of care.
  • Coordinate secondary care clinical areas to ensure safe, effective patient pathways and smooth daily operations.
  • Support staffing, shift leadership and service continuity alongside the Clinical Unit Manager.
  • Drive quality improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance clinical care.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and ensure compliance with evidence‑based practice.
  • Manage and support staff through challenging situations, complaints and complex clinical scenarios.
  • Promote a strong customer‑service culture across the clinical team.
  • Contribute to governance through audits, incident reviews, and embedding learning across the team.
  • Coach, mentor and support the development of junior team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive culture.
  • Support efficient clinical scheduling, rota management and service delivery to improve patient experience.

Key Skills / Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
  • Strong clinical experience with evidence of leading shifts or teams.
  • Experience supporting quality improvement, incident management and change.
  • Experience within outpatient/diagnostic or multi‑specialty services.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and influencing skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft 365.

Desirable

  • Leadership qualification or working towards one.
  • Experience developing protocols, supporting training or contributing to research.
