As a Bank Specialist Paediatric Dietitian at Cromwell Hospital, you'll play a key role in delivering and developing high-quality, evidence-based dietetic services across both general and paediatric care.

You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, support service improvements, and lead on governance and audit initiatives to ensure excellence in patient care. What you'll do:

  • Deliver specialised nutritional advice to paediatric and general inpatients and outpatients.
  • Lead service development, governance, audit, and risk management for dietetic services.
  • Collaborate with catering teams to ensure therapeutic diets are available and appropriately delivered.
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, particularly on the paediatric ward.
  • Support nursing staff in nutritional assessments and ensure appropriate referrals and escalations.
  • Coordinate patient referrals and provide tailored dietary advice and follow-up.
  • Develop patient and staff education resources and lead training initiatives.
  • Promote the dietetic service through marketing and national events.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and hospital governance policies.

What you'll bring:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Dietetics
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in Paediatrics (Required.)
  • Minimum three years post-registration hospital experience
  • Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills
  • Proficient in clinical systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in service development and audit leadership
