Role Overview
As a Business Analyst you will work with business stakeholders to determine the necessary target operating model and scope business requirements for initiatives in the Cromwell and wider London Diagnostic Centres transformation portfolio. You will then subsequently support the delivery of these initiatives alongside the wider Transformation team.
You'll help us make health happen by:
Helping define and iterate the target operating model (TOM) across the dimensions of systems, data, processes and people
Partnering effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into specific objectives, and from there defining detailed needs and prioritised business requirements
Being able to use a variety of techniques (e.g. workshops) to understand, document and confirm the ‘as-is' and ‘to-be' business processes (using BPMN), and to elicit and elaborate business requirements
Ensuring non-functional requirements are captured
Ensuring business process metrics/business outcomes are understood, and that the ‘to-be' state will enable those metrics/business outcomes
Supporting the effective delivery of programmes and projects to provide optimal outcomes and enable the organisation to deliver its strategy
Supporting business readiness activity associated with projects to ensure the change is adopted and embedded in business as usual
Supporting with decision making through assessing the value and impact of potential future changes
Promoting a customer centric culture through managing change, partners, processes and empowering team to do what is best for the internal and external customer
Establishing and maintaining strong, effective and trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the business
Creating and managing optimised documentation for all change and project assignments
Complying with and taking into account any requirements from the UK regulators and/or any applicable local regulatory requirements
Living Bupa's values and code of conduct, ensuring that all Change initiatives are delivered ethically and in compliance with our policies and standards.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Essential:
Expert knowledge of business process analysis (including BPMN)
Good knowledge of Agile (Scrum)
Good knowledge of tools and techniques such as UML, Behaviour Driven Development, Kanban, MS Visio, MS Project and data modelling
Resilient and ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels
Structured strategic thinker
Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Evidence of complex analysis and understanding of business requirements in order to establish suitable business process and systems solutions
Strong practical background in delivering change
Preferred:
Evidence a background of successful Change delivery within the Healthcare and/or other regulated industries
