Hours: Full time / 37.50 Hours per week.

As an Oncology Specialist Dietitian, you shall be responsible for providing specialised nutritional advice to cancer patients undergoing a range of interventions as in and outpatients, including surgery Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and Immunotherapy at Cromwell Hospital. This post also covers our Oncology ward where patient may require nutritional interventions such as oral nutritional support, enteral and parenteral feeding. Further additional aspects of the role include supporting our ‘Holistic care clinic' and supporting within a highly specialist Head and Neck surgical team/pathway which includes pre and post-operative clinics with our dedicated Head and Neck Specialist nursing and Speech and Language therapy team.
You will be working alongside 4 other Specialist Dietitians within the team who regularly collaborate in CPD sessions, Audit projects and Article/Marketing projects for BUPA. There will be an expectation to cross-cover some additional Adult inpatients and outpatient caseload when the other team members are on leave which can include intensive care, medical and surgical caseloads. All Dietitians regularly support with some nutrition support and weight management outpatient work.
There is significant opportunity to further develop and expand the Oncology Dietetic Service. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and adaptable dietitian with broad clinical experience to join our supportive and collaborative team.
