Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) Lead Therapist
Homebased with occasional attendance in either Bupa Place (Salford Quays, M50 3SP) or alternative local Bupa Centre as required.

Full-Time/Part-Time – minimum number of working days is 3 days per week.

The service we provide operates between 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday, essential requirements would be to work one late shift per week plus 1 Saturday and Sunday every 8 weeks.
This role will be a mixture of clinical leadership (2 days per week) and clinical sessions (minimum 1 day week).

We are thrilled to announce an extraordinary opportunity for a dynamic and highly skilled Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner to assume the role of a APP Lead Therapist within Bupa Health Clinics. This pivotal position offers the chance to provide clinical leadership and support to a team of virtual Physiotherapist.
Who are we looking for?
We need a visionary. Someone who is as passionate about developing their team as they are about advancing healthcare. You should bring substantial post-graduate experience in musculoskeletal medicine, coupled with a proven track record of leadership and a relentless drive for excellence.
You'll help us make health happen by:
Undertaking regular virtual APP sessions per week (minimum 1 day per week).
Providing clinical input into the review of customer feedback comments, complaints, incidents and risks.
Leading on the implementation of clinical policies and procedures within your team with guidance from the Clinical Leadership Team.
Working with the clinical leadership team to drive customer improvement plans within the MSK service line.
Clinically overseeing the provision of Physiotherapy by the clinicians within your allocated team and acting as a key clinical advisory and support point.
Mentoring and discussing clinical performance with your APP team as individuals, using data and customer feedback.
Supporting the operations team line manager and relevant Clinical Lead with people management issues such as performance, capability and conduct.
Supporting the local operations team to drive business and financial performance.
Supporting with the recruitment and clinical induction of new APPs where required.
Working closely with clinical and operational leadership colleagues to encourage participation in staff satisfaction surveys. Analysing feedback and putting actions plans in place where improvements are required.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Physiotherapist and practising member of the HCPC
MSc post graduate qualification in MSK Physiotherapy or University accredited Post Graduate modules in MSK/Advanced Practice. Post grad module relevant to diagnostic nature of APP service
Demonstrate post graduate learning and advanced clinical skills (MSc level) in patient assessment, diagnostics with development of treatment plan, including evidence of working at Level 7 (MSc level) all 4 pillars (clinical practice, leadership & management, education and research
Experience working as an APP
Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests
Substantial post graduate working experience in musculoskeletal medicine
Experience in leadership/mentorship/relationship management
High standard of communication and interpersonal skills
Strong persuasive and credible authority
Excellent planning, time management and prioritisation skills
Confident decision making skills
Ability to work well in and lead a team
Excellent organisational skills
IT proficient
Ability to work at pace and be agile
Adaptability during times of growth and strategic change
Strong personal and professional drive
Solution focussed attitude
