Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP)
Homebased with occasional attendance in either Bupa Place (Salford Quays, M50 3SP) or alternative local Bupa Centre as required.
Contract hours: Full-time and Part-time available (Flexible)
Salary: £50,000 full time equivalent
Flexible shift pattern – based on 37.5 hour working week, minimum working hours of 22.5 hours per week
The service we provide operates between 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday. You would be expected to work one late shift per week (12-8pm) and one Saturday (8am-4pm) in every 6 weeks.

This is a remote physiotherapy consultation service available for Bupa Insurance Members, Occupational Health and Corporate Customers. The service runs alongside other providers to ensure fast access to triage where no other GP referral has been made.
The service serves two purposes; to provide support and information to enable individuals to self-manage their musculoskeletal condition and where necessary, facilitate onward referral to the appropriate recognised clinicians or services.

You'll help us make health happen by:
Ensuring outstanding professional and customer service standards are delivered by the Physioline team, using NPS survey results, complaints, and immediate customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in delivery, giving individual feedback where necessary.
Arranging appropriate treatment for higher risk cases and work closely with the PhysioLine support team to ensure a seamless and effective service to every customer.
Ensuring compliance by the Physioline team with all clinical and operational performance policies, procedures and protocols issued by Bupa.
Liaising with other members of the MSK team to ensure best practice particularly where the diagnosis is in doubt and/or the patient is not responding to Physiotherapy treatment in the expected fashion.
Ensuring that physiotherapy care is delivered as defined in the quality standards, taking into consideration best practice, Bupa care pathways and all necessary professional codes of conduct and managing this through annual clinical reviews and biannual notes audits.
Delivering excellent standards of telephone assessment via audio or video, providing diagnosis and facilitating onward referrals.
Monitoring and follow up complex cases and red flag cases.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective delivery within expected quality measures.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
HCPC registration
Extensive post-graduate working experience in musculoskeletal medicine.
MSc post graduate qualification in MSK Physiotherapy or university-accredited post graduate modules in MSK/Advanced Practice. Post grad module relevant to diagnostic nature of APP service.
Significant experience working within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Demonstrable post graduate learning and advanced clinical skills (MSc level) in patient assessment, diagnostics with development of treatment plan, including evidence of working at Level 7 (MSc level) all 4 pillars (clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Up-to-date with own clinical practice and demonstrate an ability to maintain clinical competence.
Experience treating private patients and sports injuries.
Experience of assessing clinical standards during review and offering constructive feedback.
Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of the drivers of service excellence with proven managerial skills (recruitment, coaching, managing performance).
