Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist - Children and Young Person (CYP)
Fully remote - UK only
Permanent. Full or part time (minimum of 2 days per week -16 hours)
From £47,000* per annum plus excellent Bupa benefits
*based on full-time, if part-time this will be pro-rata
Operational Hours:
CYP service: 09:00 to 20:00, with a strong preference for after school appointments as these are in high demand.
This role will be primarily for our young persons pathway, but will also include adult clients too.

As a Remote Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people through evidence-based therapy. You'll work flexibly and remotely, delivering high-quality CBT that makes a real difference. Whether it's a one-off wellbeing session or a longer-term intervention, your work will help shape brighter futures for children and adolescents across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality CBT or brief interventions to children and young people
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored formulations
Offer therapy via video or telephone, depending on client preference
Liaise with schools, parents, carers, and other key stakeholders
Work within Bupa's case management and safeguarding frameworks
Manage risk and escalate concerns with support from clinical leads
Provide signposting, onward referrals, and one-off wellbeing support as needed
Contribute to psychoeducation and mental health awareness through workshops and presentations
Attend regular clinical supervision and collaborate with the wider therapy team
Identify ways to improve client and employee experiences
What We're Looking For
Postgraduate Diploma in CBT (High Intensity), BABCP-accredited
Full accreditation with BABCP
At least 2 years' post-qualification experience delivering CBT to children and/or adolescents
Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own caseload
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
Experience working towards utilisation targets and maintaining time boundaries
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a great team player
Desirable: EMDR training, corporate experience, leadership skills
