As part of our team, you'll work with Business Unit and Group Technology colleagues to gather, analyse, and present data, supporting our technology transformation. You'll design and maintain KPIs, analytics, and reporting capabilities, ensuring timely and trusted insights for better decision-making.
If you're a PowerApps or Azure Data Factory/Synapse developer with a passion for MI and reporting analytics, and love telling compelling stories with PowerBI, this is your chance to make a real impact.
How you'll help us make health happen:
To establish data definitions and align on those across the businesses
To design, build and run a data collation, transformation and analytics capability for BGIUK Technology.
To create management information (visualisations, KPIs, reporting) which delivers insight to people at all levels of the organisation – from the board, executive team to the front-line.
To drive the automation of the production of this insight.
To enable self-service access to insight and analytics for stakeholders.
To implement the right standards and processes to ensure this capability is trusted and compliant.
To engage with key stakeholders across the business to design, build and implement the data and reporting capability for the BGIUK Technology team
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Experienced in data management and analytics.
Proficient with Microsoft data platforms, including Power Apps or the full Azure data stack.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging, rich, and functional data visualisations for management information and decision-making using PowerBI or Tableau.
Skilled in integrating multiple datasets, automating data ingestion and transformation processes, and managing data stores securely and efficiently.
Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities.
Preferably holds a bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent experience).
Preferably certified in one or more cloud data platforms, and one or more data visualisation tools.
