Salary starting at £34,000

Role overview:

In this role you will be working within a high performing team to deliver exceptional service for our customers by supporting with payment processes.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team within customer payments by understanding performance, completing observations and engaging positively with your team.
  • Working with third parties, outsourcers and other teams throughout Bupa that support with our payment processes.
  • Using data and MI to manage and prioritise and allocate work.
  • Engaging with feedback from your team to deliver on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting with internal and external audits and working with our internal risk and governance teams ensuring all risks are logged and appropriately managed.
  • Completing regular reviews of claims payments and conducting approvals for payments.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience of managing front-line employees within a either front line or back office function is required.
  • Strong planning and time management is essential to be able to manage competing priorities
  • Positive and proactive attitude; self motivation with a ‘can do' approach
  • Strong business acumen and be able to apply these skills to manage external and internal customers effectively
  • Strong  skills in using data and data systems to be able to generate improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
