About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Healthcare Development Lead to play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative, high-quality healthcare solutions. This position sits at the heart of Bupa's strategy-designing and implementing care pathways, policies, and services that improve patient outcomes while enhancing affordability and accessibility.

You'll lead complex transformation programmes that directly impact customer experience, clinical quality, and commercial success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the design and delivery of healthcare transformation initiatives, aligning with strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement care pathways, services, and interventions to improve quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships across business units and with external stakeholders, including clinicians and industry bodies.
  • Analyse healthcare data and insights to identify opportunities, risks, and innovation areas.
  • Lead cross-functional programmes and teams in a complex, matrix environment.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing to develop compelling customer propositions.
  • Oversee delivery of measurable outcomes, including clinical quality, customer experience, and financial performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience within the healthcare industry, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation or change programmes.
  • Experience designing and implementing healthcare pathways or service improvements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills-able to turn ideas into outcomes.
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate in a complex, matrix organisation, influencing at all levels.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
