As a Hospital Contracts Assistant, you'll support how we work with hospitals and healthcare providers, helping ensure services are high‑quality, efficient and deliver great outcomes for our customers.

You'll play an important role in managing provider relationships, supporting contract administration and analysing data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement. Working closely with Contract Executives and Managers, you'll help make sure our provider network delivers the right care, at the right value, for our members.

How you'll help us make health happen:

  • Support Contract Managers and Executives in managing relationships with hospitals and clinics.
  • Maintain and update contract and provider data, ensuring accuracy across systems and databases.
  • Monitor pricing updates, submissions and agreements, following up with providers where needed.
  • Analyse cost trends, complaints and service data to identify issues and support investigations.
  • Prepare reports and review packs for provider meetings and performance discussions.
  • Support the resolution of billing queries, aged debt issues and provider escalations.
  • Work with providers to ensure administrative processes are followed and address non‑compliance.
  • Lead or support resolution of provider and service‑related complaints.
  • Contribute to projects that improve contract management processes and provider performance.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

Essential

  • Strong administrative or coordination experience in a data‑driven or regulated environment.
  • Confident working with data, with experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI or similar.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with internal teams and external providers.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data trends, identifying issues and opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot inaccuracies and resolve problems quickly.

Desirable

  • Experience working with contracts, healthcare providers or supplier management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, insurance or financial services environments.
  • Familiarity with contract documentation or negotiation processes.
