Salary: From £57,800 plus Bonus and benefits
Contract type: Permanent
Shift pattern: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
Location : Hybrid / Manchester, London, Brighton office based - 2/3 days in Bupa office per week

Role Overview
The talented Data Migration Engineer to join our Health Service technology team. You will create and maintain valuable datasets and support several teams with their varied data migration needs, including migration from legacy systems, acquisitions and CRM data ingestion
How you'll help us make health happen:
Support key initiatives, data assets, and projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product teams and projects) to ensure tasks are understood, assigned, and delivered within time and resource constraints.
Source and connect data from multiple sources, understanding data warehouse and database infrastructures.
Work with large, complex datasets, using tools to transform data and import into various destinations.
Gather, interpret, and present insightful data to stakeholders at all levels.
Extract actionable insights and provide tactical recommendations to help internal customers meet their goals.
Develop complex MI data and delivery solutions using SQL, Excel, Access, Power BI, and VBA, focusing on formula creation and automation.
Communicate complex technical or migration issues to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity.
Present results of analysis in sprint reviews, highlighting key implications (”so what?”) for the business.
Clarify and document business data definitions and requirements, including obtaining and formatting data from legacy systems using Excel, SQL, and Alteryx.
Take ownership of personal and professional development, staying up to date with new products and data management techniques.
Demonstrate awareness of relational database structures, principles, and practices.
Quantify value delivered to internal customers and champion data best practices, providing regular feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Create insightful dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
Understanding of Cloud technologies, development approaches, tools, and techniques
Experience with project management methods (e.g., agile, waterfall, Scrum).
Experience working in Product and/or Agile teams.
Commercial experience in a related sector (e.g., insurance, healthcare) or function (e.g., marketing).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
Experience in establishing and monitoring KPIs to measure value delivered
