Role Overview

The Strategy & Transformation Manager will work in the Health Services Growth and Transformation Team - working with the Head of Health Services Strategy to support the Health Services Business Unit.

You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Implementing, managing and evolving new and existing processes that will enable effective tracking, measurement and oversight of the Health Services Transformation agenda, ensuring that delivery is aligned to our strategic objectives and commitments.
  • Establishing and delivering reporting across the Health Services portfolio, providing the Head of Strategy with the relevant information to provide oversight and strategic messaging to the GM, HSET and other interested parties, ensuring that issues are raised and dealt with and decisions are supported by data.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and key point of contact across strategic projects and transformation activity, ensuring that progress is reflected through the Delivery Hub tracking and reporting processes and communicated.
  • Challenging the direction and scope of projects, identifying and encouraging opportunities and risks, and assisting in developing ideas, solutions and resolutions, ensuring that all projects remain aligned to business priorities.
  • Working with the Head of Strategy to enable the delivery of the Health Services' strategy objectives and milestones.
  • Leading on data collection and presentation for upward reporting to Business Unit, Market Unit and Group stakeholders, specifically the Savannah27 Strategy KPIs, enabling the Head of Strategy to prepare strategy updates to various governance forums and stakeholders.
  • Working with the Business Unit teams, especially the Transformation and Change teams to ensure coordinated products/services/messages/actions and foster a ‘One Health Services' mindset and approach.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Professional experience of development and communication of strategy, marketing, relevant business propositions, or transformation programmes - preferred.
  • Strong project management capability.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop clear insights.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and insightful messages.
  • Ability to work with both broad concepts/big-picture issues and granular business details.
  • Commercial acumen and sound business judgement.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence/manage stakeholders across all levels of an organisation with strong teamwork/collaboration skills.
  • Some experience working in healthcare is desirable but not mandatory
