We make health happen

At Bupa, our purpose is simple: we help people live longer, healthier, happier lives and we work hard to create a better world too. The Healthcare Collaboration Manager plays a key role in bringing this purpose to life across our global clinical community.

Bupa operates across many countries and care settings, which means our people have access to an incredible breadth of expertise. Your work will help bring that expertise together, connecting clinicians, supporting shared learning, and strengthening how we work across markets.

In this role, you'll help shape and deliver Bupa's global healthcare collaboration agenda. You'll also drive forward one of our most exciting developments: our international clinical exchange programme. This programme helps clinicians gain global experience, share their knowledge, and strengthen our clinician value proposition, all while supporting safe, consistent and high‑quality care for the people we serve.

By making collaboration easy, meaningful and well‑supported, you'll help build a stronger global community of clinicians who are proud to be part of Bupa.

How you'll help us make health happen

As our Healthcare Collaboration Manager, you'll:

  • Support the planning and delivery of global healthcare collaboration activities, including flagship moments such as the Bupa Symposium, Best of Bupa Awards and Global Health Leaders Summit.

  • Lead the development and implementation of Bupa's international clinical exchange framework.

  • Work with market teams to understand feasibility, define scalable models, and create safe, compliant pathways for clinician mobility.

  • Map clinical role equivalence across markets and identify priority pathways for exchange or placement.

  • Assess practical considerations such as clinical registration, licensing, visas, language requirements, regulatory differences and local capacity.

  • Build trusted, productive relationships with market teams to ensure alignment, buy‑in and progress across all initiatives.

  • Work closely with colleagues in Group People, Clinical, Operations, Immigration, Legal, Tax and Communications to ensure compliance, safety and strong engagement.

  • Monitor activity progress, risks and impact - providing clear, accessible reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Capture learnings across programmes and help shape future strategy and scaling.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who can bring people together, simplify complexity and keep things moving - even when working across different countries, teams and time zones.

You'll be a great match for the Healthcare Collaboration Manager role if you have:

  • Demonstrated project management experience, ideally coordinating complex, cross‑functional or multi‑market initiatives.

  • Experience working in or alongside healthcare organisations, and an understanding of clinical roles and regulatory environments.

  • Experience supporting workforce development, talent mobility or organisational development projects.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations and bring diverse groups together.

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in turning complex information into simple frameworks, plans and briefings.

  • Comfort working in ambiguity; shaping new programmes from concept through to structured delivery.

  • Some exposure to visa, immigration, tax or regulatory considerations in global mobility (desirable).

Benefits

Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people. Viva is our global wellbeing programme supporting mental, physical, financial, social and environmental wellbeing. We support flexible working and offer a range of family‑friendly policies.

Joining Bupa in this role you will receive the following benefits and more:

  • 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell

  • Bupa health insurance as a benefit in kind

  • An enhanced pension plan and life insurance

  • Annual performance-based bonus of up to 10%

  • Onsite gyms or local discounts where no onsite gym available

  • Various other benefits and online discount
