We make health happen!
Working within Internal Audit, you will operate in an environment that handles highly sensitive and commercially confidential information, requiring a high level of discretion and professionalism at all times. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive PA and administrative support to the Internal Audit Directors, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their day-to-day activities.
You will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and travel, and ensure leaders are fully prepared for key engagements. The role also supports wider team operations, including organising meetings and events, managing stakeholder engagement, and overseeing departmental processes such as purchase orders and expenses.
Given the high visibility of Internal Audit, including exposure to Board-level activity, the role demands consistently high standards and a focus on producing accurate, high-quality outputs. Success will depend on your ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing a strategic mindset with strong attention to detail.
How you'll help us make health happen:
Provide comprehensive PA and administrative support to the Internal Audit Directors, including diary management, meeting coordination, room bookings, travel arrangements (flights, hotels, visas), and expense processing.
Work closely with the Directors to support their direct reports and ensure they are fully prepared for meetings with the necessary documentation.
Support team efficiency by coaching colleagues on administrative processes and managing purchase orders and requisitions via PeopleSoft e‑purchasing.
Coordinate team and leadership activity, including organising meetings with live/interactive support, managing engagements with co-source providers, supporting the AALP programme, and collating confidential information for LT meetings.
Support wider Internal Audit operations by organising events (e.g. team sessions, conferences, LT meetings) and providing ad hoc cover for senior PA roles.
Deliver core administrative support, including producing correspondence and presentations, managing communications, maintaining filing systems, and overseeing office supplies.
Coordinate meetings and virtual sessions (e.g. Microsoft Teams), support recruitment and onboarding activities (interviews, inductions, equipment), create stakeholder surveys, and assist with translations (Italian and Arabic) when required.
Skills & experience you'll need for this role:
Solid experience of providing PA support to multiple directors in a fast paced, corporate environment.
You'll be someone who can be trusted with sensitive information, demonstrating discretion and professionalism at all times.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
An advanced level of competence in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer
Excellent office and organisation skills
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat 7.0, including editing & creating pdf files
Working knowledge of Sharepoint is preferable.
Experience of organising events.
The job is based at Angel Court, London, but will involve occasional, infrequent travel to other offices on an ad-hoc basis.
