As our Group PMO Lead you'll play a pivotal role in delivering this purpose. You'll lead the Group-level Project Management Office, supporting strategic programmes that span our global operations. This is your chance to shape how we deliver change at scale and make a real difference to the health of millions.

This critical leadership role will also be responsible for driving efficiency and high standards in project governance, reporting and execution. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in project and programme management, financial tracking, stakeholder coordination, and enterprise-wide reporting. They will be adept at driving delivery through complex Group structures without direct control or management.

Key Responsibilities

As Group PMO Lead, you'll be the driving force behind our most important projects. You'll:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of group-level programmes aligned to Bupa's strategic goals
  • Define and embed project management best practices across the Group and support local market units to do the same
  • Develop consistent reporting standards, including dashboards, KPIs, and executive summaries
  • Provide regular updates to senior leaders on project status, risks, and benefits
  • Coordinate with PMOs across our global business to ensure alignment and integration
  • Track performance metrics, financials, and resource usage across a diverse portfolio
  • Support procurement processes and ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Influence without authority - working closely with senior stakeholders to drive delivery

You'll also be a key player in Savannah27, one of our most ambitious global initiatives, with regular oversight from the Board and BERC.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's confident, collaborative, and ready to lead from the front. You'll need:

  • Extensive experience in project or programme management, with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role
  • A recognised qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed, and global organisations
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Power BI
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A passion for delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement
