As our Head of Pricing Risk, you'll play a vital role in making sure our pricing strategies are fair, responsible and aligned with our purpose. You'll lead second line oversight across our full product range - from Consumer and Corporate to SME and Dental - helping us stay within our risk appetite while delivering great value to our customers.
This is a leadership role with real impact, offering the chance to shape pricing governance and influence decision-making at the highest level.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead 2nd line oversight of pricing risk across Bupa's UK insurance businesses
Deliver technical assurance reviews, risk opinions and business monitoring
Build strong partnerships with our Pricing, Actuarial and Commercial teams
Implement and maintain effective risk frameworks, ensuring pricing decisions align with regulatory requirements and customer fairness
Represent the Risk function in key forums and committees, providing expert challenge and insight
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on pricing strategies
Support audit and incident management processes
Senior Actuary with significant pricing experience within Healthcare Insurance or General Insurance
Strong understanding of financial, insurance, operational and conduct risk
Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks
Knowledge of FCA, PRA and wider regulatory environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
