Interim Tax Compliance Senior Manager
Fixed-term contract - 12 months
Angel Court, London
Hybrid Working Options - 1-2 days per week in the office
Full time (35 hours per week)

The Interim Tax Compliance Senior Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of the Group's International and UK direct tax compliance requirements, and all Group Tax reporting activities and deliverables.
They will ensure all external and internal compliance, reporting, and regulatory deadlines are met, payments made on time, and deliverables produced to a high standard. In addition, they will support the broader Group Tax function in other areas as required, such as tax risk and governance, tax advisory work, and projects.
How you'll help us make health happen:
Responsible for UK and international tax compliance returns and payments for UK and Group entities (e.g. UK CT returns, CFC, Corporate Interest Restriction, CbCR, Pillar 2 etc).
Review the data prepared for Group entities for the purposes of calculating Bupa's Total Tax Contribution (TTC).
Management of the end-to-end production of the Group's consolidated tax charge as well as associated disclosures in the Annual Report & Accounts (AR&A), managing the timetable and process for year end and half year accounts.
Manage the preparation of Statutory Accounts for all Group Treasury and Holding entities, supported by the Tax Reporting Manager.
Review and sign off the calculation of the Group's quarterly tax charge and quarterly regulatory reporting obligations under Solvency II (including EBS and LADT calculations).
Manage the forecast tax charge for Group entities and review the Group's quarterly rolling forecasts.
Provide ad-hoc tax advice as required by the business. Drive efficiencies in processes and technology improvements, bringing innovative ideas to transform existing processes with a view to continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CTA) with financial accounting background and experience of CT gained in a multi-national group or large accounting firm.
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax and IFRS financial reporting.
Experience of international tax compliance such as CbCR essential.
Extensive experience of tax reporting, compliance, and accounting consolidation software needed.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interrogate, analyse and map data.
Ability to problem solve and work to tight deadlines, consistently and accurately.
