People Business Partner - Fixed Term

Bupa Place, Manchester M50 3SP - hybrid

Fixed Term 6 months

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Salary £45900 - £57300 pro rata depending on experience

The role

You'll lead on change programmes linked to the people strategy, spanning across Insurance & Functions.

You'll provide HR advice to stakeholders and work in partnership with the People function to ensure effective delivery of strategic and operational people services to the business line.

You'll lead the implementation of small change initiatives.

How the People Business Partner helps us make health happen

  • Implements people activities, reorganisations and consultations aligned to the plan
  • Understands relevant customer and regulatory people metrics and data
  • Diagnoses root causes of underperformance and identify opportunities to accelerate performance
  • Creates and implements plans in partnership with the line and other stakeholders
  • Undertakes diagnostics and solves business issues with relevant people solutions and interventions.
  • Considers costs and efficiencies when proposing projects solutions and interventions.
  • Ensures outcomes achieve agreed customer and business benefits.
  • Provides data and metrics on the progress of the projects, initiatives, interventions and any part of the people and culture plan and quantifies achievements.
  • Assesses and mitigate risks and escalates any risks or concerns
  • Ensures there is always a robust engagement plan and creates key communications messages and plan to work in collaboration with internal communications.
  • Seeks continuous improvement after every project implementation and seeks support and expertise from MU Centre People resources to improve the outcomes of solutions and interventions.
  • Provides input to the Heads of People across People and Functions

You

  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience of leading change programmes which span large numbers of employees to agreed benefits, in a regulated, matrix organisation, ideally Financial Services or Healthcare.
  • Accomplished working with people managers and employees with significant change management experience.
  • Demonstrable successful business partnering in large multisite organisations with diverse demographics
  • Strong track record and extensive experience of leveraging all aspects of HR to improve business performance on a sustainable basis
  • Credibility, confidence and gravitas to partner and influence senior leaders and people managers
  • Experience working across other regions outside of the UK would be great
