We are seeking an ambitious and technically skilled Senior Finance Systems Specialist, focusing on Financial Reporting to join our Group Finance Systems team at Bupa. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about finance technology and eager to grow their expertise in applications such as Oracle EPBCS, Workiva, Tagetik, PowerBI and other 'best of breed' tools.

How you'll help us make health happen
Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end process flows and data requirements across Financial reporting, including interdependencies with other reporting processes.
Lead the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of applications supporting Finance reporting, ensuring appropriate controls and governance are in place.
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring systems run smoothly and meet business needs.
Drive enhancements and improvements to finance systems - from gathering requirements and designing solutions to configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment.
Collaborate with the Finance Systems Manager, Finance teams, Group Technology, and external software vendors to deliver project work and ensure high-quality service.
Act as a go-to expert for system-related activities, providing excellent support to Group and MU users globally.
What you'll bring
A customer-focused mindset and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly at all levels.
Solid understanding of finance processes.
Experience in implementing or operating finance data solutions and systems.
Hands-on experience or strong interest in EPM tools and data visualisation platforms -Tagetik, Oracle EPM, and Workiva.
Awareness of the challenges faced by large global organisations in managing complex reporting processes.
Ability to manage project schedules and deliverables within a collaborative team environment.
Experience in Financial Services or Insurance industries, or ‘Big 4' is desirable.
A professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is advantageous. PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
