How you'll help us make health happen:

We are seeking an established Transformation & Change professional to lead the delivery of a major business transformation programme within Bupa Egypt Insurance.

This role will initially lead the implementation of a new domestic PMI business in Egypt, including the establishment of a local TPA, development of a target operating model, and deployment of supporting technology platforms. The programme will involve significant business and technology change, delivered in partnership with local, regional and global teams.

The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of strategic change initiatives, ensuring delivery of business outcomes, benefits realisation, effective governance, and alignment with business strategy.

Programme Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead large, complex transformation programmes from mobilisation through to implementation.
  • Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, delivery plans and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive business, operational, technology and organisational change to achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Ensure business readiness, implementation planning and successful transition into operational support.
  • Apply delivery best practices to improve programme performance and responsiveness.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Establish and lead governance forums, steering committees and decision-making structures.
  • Provide clear reporting on programme progress, risks, issues, dependencies and outcomes.
  • Influence senior leaders to secure alignment, resources and timely decisions.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Support development and management of programme business cases.
  • Own programme forecasts, budgets and financial performance.
  • Identify and manage delivery and financial risks, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure programme costs and benefits are appropriately governed and approved.

Vendor & Third-Party Management

  • Manage relationships with implementation partners, suppliers and third-party vendors.
  • Define and oversee delivery against agreed statements of work and contractual commitments.
  • Challenge performance and proactively manage risks to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead matrix teams across multiple functions, geographies and disciplines.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Drive effective risk management, problem solving and decision making across the programme.
  • Champion agile ways of working and delivery excellence.

About You

You will be a proven transformation leader with experience delivering large-scale business and technology change programmes in complex, matrix organisations.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Extensive experience leading large, complex transformation programmes.
  • Strong programme, portfolio and governance management expertise.
  • Significant experience overseeing major technology-enabled change.
  • Commercially astute with experience managing substantial budgets and business cases.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Experience working across geographically dispersed teams and matrix structures.

Desirable Experience

  • Health insurance or broader insurance and financial services experience.
  • Experience of greenfield implementations, new business launches or operating model transformation.
