Our award winning Richmond Village Wood Norton are currently looking for a Chef De Partie to join their lively and dynamic team. This role is not just about cooking; it's about enhancing the quality of life for residents through the joy of food. You will be a key player in creating a diverse range of dishes in our contemporary village restaurant as well as one that caters to various dietary needs, ensuring every meal is both nutritious and delicious. With the chance to learn and refine practical cooking skills, this position promises career growth and the potential to progress within the culinary field. Moreover, the community atmosphere encourages social interactions, with staff events fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. If you are passionate about food with experience of working in a professional kitchen, we want to hear from you! An NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or equivalent is desirable but not essential, along with an understanding of health and safety procedures.
The successful applicant will be open to new ideas, have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service. You enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each mealtime.
