As a Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the performance of our Corporate SME & Dental segment. You'll work closely with our Senior Finance Analyst & Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver insightful reporting, commercial modelling, and pricing decisions that help shape the future of our business. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
How you'll help us make health happen
In this role, you'll:
Support sales managers with management information and commercial decisions
Make day-to-day pricing decisions for new and renewing business across SME and Corporate channels
Consolidate and analyse weekly trading data to support strategic decisions
Collaborate with finance and other teams to improve systems and processes
Identify and escalate risks to business performance
Deliver forward-looking financial insights and challenge where needed
Promote best practices in analytics across the wider finance team
Perform monthly governance checks on commercial decisions
Maintain commercial decision-making tools and reporting
Ensure all work aligns with our commitment to treating customers fairly
Key skills qualifications needed for this role
We're looking for someone who's analytical, proactive, and ready to make a difference. You'll need:
Experience within a fast paced Finance team is essential.
Early studies/part qualified or on a training course would be beneficial but not a requirement
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Experience with Salesforce would be beneficial
High energy, the ability to work under pressure & to tight deadlines
Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Powerpoint
A continuous improvement mindset and customer focus
Strong communication and influencing skills
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
A team-oriented approach and flexibility to adapt to changing needs
Confidence in presenting work to senior stakeholders
