As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in making health happen by ensuring our financial reporting is accurate, timely and insightful. You'll be part of our Clinics Finance team, supporting the UK Market Unit (UK MU) and Corporate Centre with financial control, forecasting and reporting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems and people - and wants to make a real impact in a global healthcare business. You'll be joining a team that values collaboration, curiosity and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate monthly financial and management accounts for designated business units
Own the upload process to Tagetik, ensuring compliance with Corporate Centre instructions
Support the preparation of annual and quarterly forecasts, working closely with Finance Business Partners
Maintain balance sheet reporting, reconciliations and controls
Assist with year-end statutory returns and audit files
Provide financial insights to support decision-making and performance reviews
Learn and apply accounting policies and standards alongside our Record to Report team
Perform routine system functions with support from the Financial Systems Administrator
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who's proactive, analytical and eager to grow. You'll be:
Experience of working in a fast-paced finance team is essential
Willingness to undertake future studies and qualifications
Experienced in finance, with a strong grasp of double-entry accounting
Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accountancy software
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
A clear communicator with great customer service skills
Quick to learn and responsive to business needs
Commercially aware and adaptable to change
