As the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by providing financial insight and oversight to our functional leaders, ensuring that our financial activities align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will lead a team of approximately seven Business Partners, providing financial support, insight, and oversight to the UK 'Functional' Leaders and their teams. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead the financial planning and forecasting of gross costs (UK)
Provide framework for standardized reporting and cost management.
Support the annual and interim audit processes.
Identify opportunities to reduce third-party vendor costs
Finance Lead - transformation projects.
Build investment models, performing financial analysis
Supporting & challenge Exec commercial decision-making.
Manage financial risks & controls
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Professional accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Finance business partnering experience - Executive level.
Strong cost management experience, preferably within regulated financial services or the healthcare sector.
Able to work under significant pressure, handle multiple priorities.
Broad commercial finance experience, including reporting, planning, forecasting, and analytics.
Experience in investment appraisal and building financial models.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
Proven people management and leadership skills.
