How you'll help us make health happen
As our Senior Commercial Analyst you can expect to get to know everything, about Bupa It's all about the partnering and as this role evolves you'll get the opportunity to shape it and make it your own.
The team you'll be working in works closely with senior stakeholders across our largest unit to set ambitious but achievable budget targets and develops and track pathways to achieve them, over a 3 year time horizon.
The role:
The role will evolve over time and provide variety via working with different business functions (and these may change in future) and working on projects.
Play a business partnering role in cost management across multiple business functions, supporting senior leaders to get optimal value from their budgets.
Initially responsible for financial planning and reporting on a c.£25m p.a. cost base and c.450 FTE.
Support financial planning and controls in the analysis of healthcare claims costs.
Support commercial prioritisation and success of Healthcare Leadership Savings of c.£10m p.a. including building robust forecasts and plans.
Build, strengthen and maintain stakeholder relationships at Director level, with the ability to be tenacious and challenging when required.
Analyse, advise and assess business cases, calculating ROIs, holding approval authority on business cases and subsequently being accountable for tracking financial benefits on those cases that are approved for delivery.
Ensure process controls and KPIs are in place to monitor key business drivers.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
CIMA/ACCA qualified professional with 2 - 3 years PQE or demonstratable finance experience.
An excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to stakeholders from Board level to front line.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to push back and challenge when required.
Ambitious with a desire to progress and establish a career within Bupa.
Pro-active and keen to develop and learn new skills.
