In this Senior Finance Business Partner role, you'll be at the heart of that mission-partnering with various teams across the business to turn financial insight into better decisions that ultimately improve care for our customers. You'll lead clear, consistent reporting across our cost centres, provide data‑led analysis, and shape plans and forecasts that keep our investment in the right places. It's a role for someone who enjoys joining the dots-linking strategy, transformation and BAU-to drive value in a complex environment.
How you'll help us make health happen
Present financial results, insights and clear recommendations to our Leadership Teams
Prepare and finalise executive‑level commentary-making complex messages simple, consistent and decision‑ready.
Ensure reporting is consistent across all cost centres, helping budget holders understand actuals, forecasts and budgets.
Create financial models and scenario analyses that support key decisions, making sure insights are easy to understand without unnecessary jargon.
Build strong knowledge of our estate, including centrally held and locally held costs, internal recharges and areas for efficiency.
Work with analysts so software, licences and contract details feed accurately into plans and forecasts.
Partner with Finance teams across the business (including planning, systems and tax) and collaborate with Procurement to ensure transparent, compliant activity.
Provide constructive commercial challenge and highlight practical alternatives where needed, while automating data wherever possible to support quicker decision‑making.
Key skills/Qualifications required for this role
Qualified Accountant would be beneficial - please state this on your application
Significant experience within finance business partner role is essential
Comfortable advising and influencing Executive and senior leaders, with the confidence to challenge and the ability to tell a clear story with numbers.
Strong financial modelling and investment appraisal skills, ideally with experience in complex cost allocation or recharge models.
Curious, proactive and pragmatic - able to manage BAU and change activity in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience in healthcare or regulated financial services is helpful but not essential.
