Intermediate Data Analyst - Health Services

Remote - will need to attend team meetings once a quarter at Bupa Place, M50 3SP
Permanent - full time

Salary: £40,500 - £46,000 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Role Overview

As an Intermediate Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality analytics, dashboards, and automation solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive process improvements, support healthcare initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of data quality and insight.

You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Lead complex data analysis projects and deliver actionable insights
  • Develop and optimise advanced dashboards and visualisations (Power BI/Tableau)
  • Use expert-level Excel skills for modelling, automation, and reporting
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding and influencing their requirements
  • Drive and implement process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Apply deep healthcare knowledge to analytics and reporting
  • Communicate findings effectively to all levels of the organisation
  • Develop and maintain advanced scripts and statistical models (SQL, R, Python)
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development
  • Design, optimise, and automate data pipelines using Snowflake; leverage advanced Snowflake features for analytics and performance tuning

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Extensive experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and automation
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI/Tableau and Excel
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and automation
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare data and processes
  • Advanced coding/statistical skills (SQL, R, Python)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience mentoring or leading small teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Snowflake, including data modelling, pipeline automation, and performance optimisation
