This is a hybrid role to take ownership in two areas of activities - broker service
and enrolment. Your primary duty is to offer account management styled support to Intermediaries base din Singapore and South East Asia. Your dedicated service to brokers will have a great impact in winning brokered customers for Bupa Global. It is important you build a trustworthy relationship with brokers as this gives them high confidence to promote Bupa Global products to our customers.


To optimize broker experience, you also handle enrolments submitted by brokers to demonstrate the integrated service journey from Bupa Global. In addition, you will be required to assist with policy document fulfilment requests and postal services.

You are empowered to make judgments and to deliver the most appropriate solution to brokers. In each query/case, you need to find a balance between providing extraordinary service and managing brokers' expectations.
You will work with a broad range of departments to deliver the very best service in a timely manner including individual sales, corporate sales, client management, and finance teams in various locations globally

How you'll help us make health happen:

  • The primary point of contact for intermediaries within their portfolio and deliver the highest level of customer care.

  • You will be expected to take ownership and seek to resolve queries via emails and calls with both quality and productivity

  • You own enrolment journey include Individual, SME and Corporate Groups.

  • You are familiar with all business rules/requirements in enrolment activities, making judgment to refer relevant cases to Underwriters, KYC Team, Credit Control Team and Sales Teams when required.

  • Support exceptional fulfilment (such as Vulnerable Customer) requests of various policy documents and requirements for Raffles health Insurance policies.

  • Good numeracy skills in order to handle invoice, claims or commissions enquires.

  • You will investigate issues for brokers, shown an ability to recognise trends of issues and where other processes are going wrong - being proactive in recommending solutions.

  • You are capable to establish and develop effective relationships with brokers.

  • You will juggle the workload between enrolment and broker service so fair judgment is needed in prioritise tasks based on importance and urgency.

  • Facilitate administration work in renewal business

  • Provide the necessary support to our brokers in training such as online portal navigation and enrolment process

What you will need:

  • You are remarkably agile; you can work independent, with minimal
    supervision as you have strong problem solving skills.

  • You are capable to communicate using plain language (avoid
    communication barrier created by yourself).

  • You like details as you help to identify any missing info. which required to complete an enrolment and commit to accuracy of the output.

  • You have excellent soft skills in managing brokers' expectations (we aim to go extra miles, but we cannot always say ”yes”; ability to be empathetic and view issues from the broker's perspective whilst maintaining professional attitude

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written skills

  • Good numeracy skills to deal with complex claim, premium, commission queries accurately.

  • Experience in dealing with brokers with relevant transferable skills and knowledge is a plus.

  • A track record of achieving productivity and QA.

  • Effective time management
