We make Health Happen

At Bupa, our purpose is simple: we help people live longer, healthier, happier lives and make a better world. In this Finance Support Team Member role, you'll turn that purpose into day‑to‑day impact by keeping our finance and supplier processes running smoothly across Bupa Global & UK. You'll support colleagues in Technology and non‑Technology teams, and work with trusted external partners to make sure spend is tracked, invoices are paid on time, and decisions are based on accurate data. It means the right people, services and tools are in place-so our clinicians, advisors and support teams can focus on care.

You'll get hands‑on ownership of key tools and processes (for example: timesheets and project spend tracking; purchase orders and invoices; and simple document hubs for our contractor records), plus the chance to build strong working relationships with Procurement, Accounts Payable and stakeholders across multiple business units. If you're organised, people‑centred and keen to learn, this is a great place to grow.

How you'll help us make Health happen

  • Create and manage purchase orders in line with signed contracts and budgets; support timely, accurate supplier payments and internal cost allocation.

  • Maintain clear, complete data on project spend, accruals and recharges; reconcile records and escalate any discrepancies for correction.

  • Provide simple, reliable reporting for finance colleagues and cost managers to support confident decisions (e.g., spend to date, forecasts, renewals).

  • Act as a friendly point of contact for supplier relationship management-agreeing and following processes that support finance, procurement and security requirements.

  • Maintain accurate contractor and supplier records (access, renewals and changes) and coordinate onboarding/offboarding steps.

  • Forecast vendor spend for key suppliers and track performance and risks using agreed metrics.

  • Support users and approvers (e.g., how to raise a purchase request, complete a timesheet, or locate documentation); deliver bite‑size training where needed.

  • Collaborate with the Finance Support Team Lead and wider stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes and share good practice across Bupa.

Key skills/qualifications required for this role

  • Previous experience in a fast paced finance role is essential. Please list this experience on your CV & application.

  • Ability to organise your workload, manage multiple activities and meet deadlines independently

  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.

  • Great communication and collaboration skills-you're comfortable working with colleagues and suppliers, building trust with stakeholders at all levels

Benefits

Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people. Viva is our global wellbeing programme and includes all aspects of our health - from mental and physical, to financial, social and environmental wellbeing. We support flexible working and have a range of family-friendly benefits.

  • Joining Bupa in this role you will receive the following benefits and more:

  • 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell

  • Bupa health insurance as a benefit in kind

  • An enhanced pension plan and life insurance

  • Onsite gyms or local discounts where no onsite gym available
