£14.25 per hour - Paid breaks plus £500 welcome bonus

Permanent. Part time on 12 hour shifts of 08:00-20:00 to include alternative weekends

A Senior Care Assistant is essential within our care home, providing vital support to the nursing team with clinical duties. They ensure residents receive high-quality care by assisting with medical tasks such as administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and updating digital care plans. Their role bridges the gap between nursing staff and residents, ensuring seamless and efficient care delivery. With an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, our Senior Care Assistants bring expertise and professionalism, enhancing the overall care environment. Their dedication and skills are crucial in maintaining residents' health, dignity, and comfort, making them invaluable members of the care team.

You'll help us make health happen by:

• Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
• Supporting with clinical duties, including supporting the nurse to observe, issue medication, review care plans and accurate record keeping
• Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers of the teams
• Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
• Building relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
• Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties
