Deputy Retirement Village Manager
Richmond Village Letcombe Regis, South Street, Wantage, OX12 9RG
£50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
Permanent. Full time, 40 hours per week with some weekends on rotation, as Duty Manager for the village

Our Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our community. This position supports our Village Manager in overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of care and service for our residents. The Deputy Manager is essential in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment, addressing residents' needs promptly, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Their leadership and dedication help create a vibrant, safe, and comfortable home for our residents, making them an invaluable part of our team.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Ideally, you've had previous experience as a Deputy Manager or experience of leading teams within a large hospitality or care setting and be willing or already working towards your level 5 leadership and management. You must be comfortable making decisions, and you are someone who sees the bigger picture and is confident challenging current processes and influencing others to challenge their own thinking. You're a change agent with experience leading teams on a journey of continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills with an ability to adapt your style to meet the varying needs of internal and external stakeholders. Approachable and open, you're a confident leader who can empower our team to deliver the highest standards of care - putting our residents at the heart of everything you do.
