Interim Spa Manager
Richmond Village Letcombe Regis, South Street, Wantage, OX12 9RG
Salary £34,000 per annum
12-month fixed term contract.
Shift Patterns: 40 hrs per week on a 3-week rolling rota to include 1 Saturday in 3
Variable Monday - Sunday with opening hours 7.30am - 7pm

We're looking for a Head of Care to work alongside our senior management team to lead our people in providing the highest quality of care to our residents.
We're looking for a Spa Manager to join our team cover 12 months Maternity leave, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Wellness Spa and will ensure all revenue opportunities are maximised and all costs are controlled whilst maintaining a safe and healthy environment for members.
You'll help us make health happen by:
Exceeding member expectations on a day-to-day basis, whilst ensuring the Wellness Spa areas and activities are promoted and run effectively. You will provide excellent customer service whilst ensuring that all communications both internally and externally are managed efficiently and effectively. Recruit, train, appraise, develop and manage all Wellness Spa Staff, whilst actively promoting all aspects of the Spa.
Effectively control and manage the Wellness Spa budgets ensuring financial and performance targets are met. You will maintain company standards throughout the Wellness Spa ensuring all staff understand and adhere to the Richmond Village values, you will continually look for ways to improve the quality of the service provided and the efficiency of the Spa. You will strive to maximise sales opportunities for the success of the Village by promoting and advertising the Wellness Spa to both the local community and Village residents.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
The successful applicant will have a Level 2 and 3 in either Beauty Therapy or Fitness along with a Management Qualification Level 2 & 3, 4 or 5. You will have at least 2 years management experience or experience of leading a team, along with a background working within the Spa industry. Knowledge of managing pool plant room operations is essential whilst experience of being a lifeguard and first aider would be highly desirable although not essential as training will be given.
