Make Every Day Matter

Are you someone who takes pride in creating warm, welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable, cared for, and at home?

At Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis, we're looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is much more than a cleaning role. It's an opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of our residents every day.

Our beautiful retirement village provides luxury living and high-quality care in a vibrant community where residents can continue to live independently and enjoy life to the fullest. With an outstanding 9.6 review score on carehome.co.uk, we're proud of the environment we've created together.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll play a key part in helping our residents feel happy, comfortable, and proud of the place they call home.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are quite the same, but your role will include:

  • Creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces throughout the village and care home
  • Maintaining residents' rooms, apartments, and communal areas to a high standard
  • Looking after laundry, including residents' clothing, bedding, and communal linen
  • Caring for furnishings, carpets, windows, and other home comforts that make a difference
  • Operating cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure exceptional service for residents
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Following infection control, health and safety, and COSHH procedures

Most importantly, you'll bring kindness, care, and attention to detail in everything you do.

What We're Looking For

You may already have experience in housekeeping, hospitality, domestic cleaning, hotels, care homes, or customer service, but equally important is your attitude.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys helping others and making people smile
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards
  • Has a positive and friendly approach
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Has good attention to detail
  • Is reliable, organised, and caring
  • Understands the importance of creating a safe, comfortable environment

If you're passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Join Richmond Villages and Bupa?

We believe that when our people feel supported, they're able to provide the very best experience for our residents. That's why we offer a fantastic range of benefits designed to support your health, wellbeing, finances, and family life.

In Return, You'll Receive:

  • Free meal with every shift
  • 28 days annual leave
  • We offer a sick pay scheme to our frontline teams, as an addition to statutory sick pay, to help provide some reassurance and financial support during longer absences.
  • Wagestream - Have early access up to 40% of your earned wages within minutes
