At Bupa, we are at the forefront of an exhilarating digital transformation journey, driven by our ambition to become the world''s most customer-centric healthcare provider. Our mission is simple yet profound: to help people live longer, happier, healthier lives, and to make a better world. As a leader in the healthcare industry, our aim is to leverage cutting-edge technology to innovate and enhance our services, ensuring exceptional experiences for our customers.

At Bupa you''ll find a culture that values diversity, inclusion and personal growth. We strive to make Bupa a place to work, grow and make a meaningful impact to the lives of millions and drive change towards a healthier world.
How you'll help us make health happen:
As a Solutions Architect at Bupa, you will:
Lead the architecture and integration / consolidation of IT systems across acquisitions and new build sites.
Develop infrastructure and application integration designs working across network, identity (AD / Entra), telephony, end user compute and clinical/business systems (e.g., PACS, EPR, people and finance).
Develop integration phasing and roadmaps aligned with key dependencies and plans within other workstreams (e.g., people onboarding).
Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions in support of joined-up healthcare delivery.
Drive technology change for a specific Bupa business or business initiative.
Engage with multiple teams both inside and outside the Architecture function to work on the execution of the technical vision.
Consider the options to solve business challenges through many lenses; Engineering, Business, Security, Data and Operations.
Recommend solutions based on time to value, overall costs and risks and strategic fit.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with our partner organizations, helping to align our technical efforts with external needs.
Clearly and crisply communicate and contribute to architectural decisions, plans, and standards for the products we create and support.
Engage with design governance early and often so that solution designs meet peer review and meet control obligations with the minimum of fuss.
You won't be doing glorified technical design work, we have talented engineers for that.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
You can demonstrate proven Solution Architecture experience with at least 3+ years in architecture roles.
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, telephony, identity and access management).
Working knowledge of healthcare applications (e.g., practice management / patient administration platforms, PACS) and familiarity with migrations to enterprise systems (e.g., HR and finance).
Experience integrating systems during acquistions or the commissioning of new sites.
Deep industry knowledge would be high advantageous, but we understand that smart people can learn quickly.
You can demonstrate the ability to create Solution designs for high-availability systems and cloud native 3rd party solutions using notation like UML and C4.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly ACP and GCP including PaaS design and workload migration will allow you to hold conversations with gifted developers.
Your expertise in building scalable, secure, and resilient data architectures using modern architecture practices such as microservices, API-led design, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native patterns will allow you to set technology direction.
