This is a rewarding role where you'll help customers at moments that matter. You'll assess complex and high-value healthcare claims, provide clear guidance, and resolve queries with care and accuracy. By making the claims journey as smooth as possible, you'll help build trust and confidence for both members and healthcare providers.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicating clearly, and finding ways to improve how things work. You'll have the opportunity to share ideas that enhance the customer experience and contribute to continuous improvement across our claims service. If you're passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes and making a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
As a Claims Management Consultant, you'll:
Assess complex and high-value healthcare claims, primarily relating to treatment received across Asia, including China, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Take ownership of claims from start to finish, making sure queries are resolved within agreed service standards and quality measures.
Review, process and assess customer and provider claims accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and update customer records, including payment and payee information.
Deliver a high-quality service that supports positive customer experiences and satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and suggest ideas that make the claims journey simpler and better for customers.
Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues, providing support, guidance and coaching where needed.
Take an active role in your own development through learning and development opportunities.
Follow all relevant regulatory, governance and compliance requirements.
Participate in regular team meetings and one-to-one discussions with your manager.
What We're Looking For
To be successful as a Claims Management Consultant, you'll bring:
Fluent spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
Strong written English communication skills.
Experience in claims assessment, claims management, health insurance, healthcare administration, or a related field would be advantageous.
A diploma or degree level qualification. Relevant insurance experience is beneficial.
A medical qualification would be an advantage but isn't essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a simple and understandable way.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
The ability to manage your workload effectively and work independently when needed.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships across different cultures and teams.
For candidates with limited claims experience, a willingness to learn, develop and build a career in claims management is highly valued.
