From £50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
Permanent. Full time, 40 hours per week with some weekends on rotation, as Duty Manager for the village

Our Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our community. You will support the Village Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the business, contributing to monthly operational planning and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences in a premium environment. Working closely with Heads of Departments, you will lead by example to uphold our values and foster a motivated, skilled, and customer-focused team.
You'll help us make health happen by:
You will be responsible for the effective management, coordination, and smooth running of the following key customer-facing departments:
Hospitality (including all food and beverage services)
Spa and Wellness
Laundry and Housekeeping
Activities and Events
Key responsibilities include:
Driving operational excellence across all service areas under your remit
Supporting commercial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and identifying revenue opportunities
Deputising for the Village Manager when required, ensuring continuity across all aspects of village operations
Leading initiatives to achieve a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 100, using feedback to drive continuous improvement
Collaborating with leadership to build an engaged, high-performing workforce with low staff turnover
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
A qualification in food management, or hospitality highly desirable.
Proven managerial experience in leading a multifaceted team is essential.
Hospitality management experience essential.
Experience of recruiting, managing, motivating, supervising and retaining staff
Proven experience and skills in delivering excellent customer services
