Jyoti is one of our home managers. She will show you what a typical day looks like working in one of our care homes.
Jyoti has worked at Bupa for over twelve years now! She is well known for her leadership skills and always putting our residents first.
She launched her ‘Age is Just a Number’ campaign this year, where the team organised and helped residents achieve bucket list moments and lifelong dreams.
Seeing the residents’ self-esteem improve and enjoying every moment makes her role all the more worthwhile.
Our Care Home Managers oversee the entire care home operation to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents in line with Bupa’s Vision, mission and values.
They are the primary point of contact with relevant regulatory bodies, take ownership of the commercial success of the home and act as a role model for leadership and build capabilities of teams within the home to drive performance culture.

As well as being able to lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team, we’ll look to you to provide outstanding, personalised care to our residents. Always putting the needs and wellbeing of our residents first - finding new ways to enrich their lives.
You’ll be managing all aspects of the home, identifying business opportunities whilst effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all relevant areas. Competent in creating and developing strong internal and external relationships, you’ll play an important role in strengthening the Bupa brand as a trusted healthcare partner with key audiences including Local Authority and Primary Care Trust commissioners.
For this role you will need to become registered with the regulator and, you also may occasionally be required to work out of hours or evenings.
