International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Our research found that almost seven in ten disabled people who weren’t well supported at work have experienced poor mental health, with over half saying their workplace or line manager lacks guidelines to support them.

This highlights the need for businesses to equip their people managers with the tools and resources to support colleagues, so that everyone has the support they need to thrive in their careers.

This International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we wanted to share stories from some of our people at Bupa talking about how they approach life at work, what steps their managers have taken to support them and how this has helped their mental health.

We celebrate all talent and strive to create an inclusive workplace conducive to wellbeing and growth.
