Based at Bupa Campus, the CTA has quickly become a key hub for clinical learning and development, supporting our people across our dental care, aged care and healthcare services businesses. Through immersive, hands-on training experiences, our people can develop the skills they need to deliver exceptional care today while preparing for the future.
The academy combines innovative learning approaches with advanced simulation technology, giving clinicians opportunities to practise in realistic environments that closely mirror everyday clinical settings. From hospital and primary care scenarios to specialist dental and care home environments, the CTA provides a safe space to learn, refine techniques and gain confidence.
Training programmes cover a wide range of clinical specialisms, including wound management, falls prevention, phlebotomy and palliative care. Dental professionals also have access to specialist courses in areas such as aesthetics, direct composite restorations, biomimetic restorations and injection moulding, helping them stay at the forefront of their profession.
The academy's cutting-edge facilities include a high-specification hospital and primary care suite, a dedicated dental training suite and a fully equipped care home setting designed to support dementia care training. Our people can also learn using AI-enabled simulations, extended reality (XR) and virtual reality (VR) technology, helping them practise new techniques, enhance decision-making and continually improve patient outcomes.
