Meet Phoebe, a dynamic and multifaceted individual who excels both at work and in her personal life. As the Remote Service Team Manager for Bupa's MSK (Musculoskeletal) team, she's a powerhouse of passion and dedication, leading her team of physiotherapists to deliver top-notch patient care. Outside of work, Phoebe enjoys exploring the Peak District with her cockapoo, Fizz. She is also trained in British Sign Language, having completed her Level 3 Qualification in 2022. Her love for the outdoors and commitment to continuous learning reflect her vibrant and well-rounded personality. 

Making Health Happen 

Phoebe is not just a manager; she’s a mentor, a motivator, and a friend. Her journey at Bupa began just over a year and a half ago when she made a bold career switch from the education sector. Every day is an adventure for Phoebe! As the Remote Service Team Manager in the MSK team, she kicks off her day with a bright and cheerful "good morning" in the team chat, followed by a quick peek at the patient appointment diary to see what the day ahead has in store. Her responsibilities revolve around making health happen — she oversees a fantastic team of physiotherapists who help patients with musculoskeletal issues. She also loves having one-on-one chats with her team members, offering support and encouragement to help them shine in their roles and deliver top-notch customer service.  

One of the highlights of Phoebe’s week is sharing positive customer feedback with her team. “It is a great chance to praise everyone for their hard work and hopefully, provides a confidence boost,” she says. This practice not only boosts morale but also reinforces the importance of her teams' collective efforts, creating a motivational and positive working environment. 

Phoebe finds her motivation in the perfect blend of flexibility and connection that Bupa offers. The ability to work from home allows her to manage her personal and professional life seamlessly, ensuring she can be at her best in both areas. The opportunity to connect with colleagues in the office adds a valuable social dimension to her work life. These in-person interactions foster a sense of community and collaboration, making her feel more engaged and supported.   

As for her future at Bupa, Phoebe is eager to see how far she can go and she knows Bupa will be there to support her journey. “Supporting colleagues and learning along the way is the most important part of my future – if I do that, I know my future self will be happy,” she states.
